25 | On October 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with Licensee Farishta Qadar to conduct an Unannounced Annual Random Inspection. The facility operates as a large family childcare home licensed to care for fourteen (14) children. At the time of the inspection, twelve (12) children were present and under the supervision of the licensee and her fingerprint-cleared assistant. LPA toured the interior and exterior of the home with the licensee to conduct a health and safety inspection.
The two-story home is owned and operated by the licensee and consists of five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, backyard, laundry area, and an attached two-car garage. LPA asked the licensee whether there were any firearms in the home and whether transportation was provided for children in care. The licensee stated that there were no firearms in the home and that transportation was not provided for children in care.
The home was observed to be clean, orderly, and well-maintained. The home is equipped with centralized heating and ventilation to ensure the comfort of children in care. The facility's hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The on-limit areas of the home are the daycare classroom/family room, the rear bonus room, the kitchen, the half bathroom on the first floor near the laundry area and garage, and the covered patio/deck. The isolation area is located in the kitchen, away from other children in care.
A safety gate is installed at the bottom of the stairway to prevent children five years of age and younger from accessing the upper level of the home.
The off-limit areas are the entire second floor, living room, dining room, and attached garage. These areas are made inaccessible to children through closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
