13 | On 08/14/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Priscilla Zamudio conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Acting Director Blanca Gomez. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection was to provide amended findings for the above allegation, previously delivered on 7/9/2026. LPA Zamudio toured the facility and a census was taken.
During the investigation, LPA Zamudio conducted observations of each classroom and outdoor areas and conducted interviews with staff. Through the interviews conducted and observations, LPA Zamudio verified that no prescribed or over the counter medications were found in each classroom. LPA also observed the storage area for staff belongings outside the classroom. Information obtained throughout the investigation did not produce sufficient information to meet the preponderance of evidence standard to support the allegation that “staff did not ensure day care child did not have access to medication.”
Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per California Code of Regulation Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiencies are being cited today. Exit interview conducted with Acting Director Blanca Gomez. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Acting Director Blanca Gomez. Notice of Site visit to be posted for 30 days.
