On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Mayra Rivera and Sherell Braddock conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and to deliver findings in regards the above allegation.

Upon LPAs Rivera and Braddock arrival, LPAs observed 3 preschool and 1 infant with licensee present providing care and supervision. LPAs met with licensee Rodeen Dunn who granted access and guided LPA Rivera and LPA Braddock on a tour of the facility.

During the course of this investigation, LPA Rivera and LPA Cha, conducted confidential interviews with staff, parents and children. Based on the confidential interviews with staff, parents and children, there was no indication of licensee speaking inappropriately to child(ren) in care or a child sustaining a scratch by an adult. The interviews conducted by LPA Rivera and LPA Cha did not support nor confirm the above allegation.

This agency has investigated the complaint alleging licensee speaks inappropriately to child(ren) in care and child sustaining a scratch by an adult. At this time, it is determined that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated. No deficiency given at this time.

Exit interview was conducted with licensee Rodeen Dunn. The licensee was provided a copy of the appeal rights (LIC 9058) and her signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these forms.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit made by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
