32 | It was alleged that the former licensee denied a daycare child access to the bathroom, resulting in the child urinating on himself. It was further alleged that the former licensee handled the child in a rough manner by grabbing him by the arm, causing the child to become fearful of the licensee. Additionally, it was alleged that the former licensee yelled at the child. It was also reported that the former licensee requested the child's authorized representatives (ARs) to pick the child up but denied the ARs access to the daycare home, preventing them from retrieving the child's belongings.
The Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) was unable to make contact with the former licensee, Maham Hamid. Due to the licensee requesting for closure on 04/28/2026, facility records or documentation were available for review, and no parent or child interviews were conducted. As a result, the LPA was unable to obtain sufficient evidence to determine the validity of the allegations. Therefore, the allegations are determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. An unsubstantiated finding indicates that, although the alleged incidents may have occurred, there is not a preponderance of evidence to support that the alleged violations occurred.
No exit interview was conducted, as the former licensee no longer resides at the facility and due to the daycare closing since. A copy of this report was left at the front door of the residence, and an additional copy was mailed to the former licensee's last known address. No individual was available to acknowledge receipt or sign the report. |
