25 | On the date and time listed, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nasha King and Cindy Hamilton arrived at the facility to conduct a subsequent Pre-Licensing Inspection to follow-up on the required corrections noted on the previous Pre-licensing Inspection that was conducted on June 02, 2022. LPAs met with the applicant, Aniesha Tillett for an inspection of the following corrections:
1. 2-A-10-BC Fire extinguisher (fully charged).
2. Pool fencing that meets Title 22 Regulations.
During this visit, LPAs inspected the areas that needed to be corrected and the following was observed and/or discussed:
During the initial prelicensing inspection, the applicant did have the required 2A:10BC fire extinguisher, but it was not fully charged. During today’s inspection, LPA King observed a fully charged 3A:40-BC fire extinguisher that meets Title 22 Regulations. In regards to the pool fencing, on June 02, 2022, LPA King and Wilkerson observed four windows that provides direct access to the pool area and the fencing height requirements was not met. During today’s inspection, LPA King observed that the applicant has completed the required corrections, as the applicant installed an additional fence (mesh) in the pool area, making the windows inaccessible. The mesh fencing conforms to Title 22 Regulations as it is five feet high, with a self-closing, self-latching gate that swings open away from the pool area.
The application for a Small Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 6, or 8 with parent notification.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the applicant Aniesha Tillett. |
