25 | On 12/20/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath conducted a follow-up complaint inspection of the Ceron Family Child Care and met with the Licensee, Julia Ceron. The purpose of the visit was to observe the facility’s environment and posting requirements. There are 8 children in the facility when the LPA arrived.
When LPA arrived at the facility, LPA observed 3 children outside alone without a supervisor. The assistant was not in the backyard with the children. According to the licensee, the assistant went to the store for some sauce. The licensee stated she told the children to come in with her so she could open the door for the LPA. The children did not follow her inside the house.
LPA asked the licensee to provide LIC 9224 (Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports) for LPA to review. LPA Heath observed there are only 5 LIC9224 (for nine children). There are 12 children enrolled in the Ceron Family Child Care. Pre-licensee, one family, is on vacation, and the other one did not show up for a week.
Based on the observation and information obtained, LPA advised the licensee to have an adult supervisor the whole time and complete the LIC 9224 with the other 2 families.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Licensee, Julia Ceron.
