The licensee denied the allegation regarding supervision, stating that no injuries had occurred at her day care. The licensee reported that she and her husband consistently supervise children indoors and outdoors and provide first aid for minor scrapes. Children interviewed stated the licensee and her husband watch then when they play, adding that they do not get hurt at the day care and have seen the licensee provide bandages to others children. Parent interviews did not reveal any concerns about care or supervision.

The licensee also denied the allegation regarding diapering, stating that she and her husband change diapers as needed and maintain extra diapers and wipes in the home. Children interviewed reported observing the licensee and her husband change diapers for the babies at the day care three or more times.

In addition, the licensee denied the allegation regarding her interactions with the day care parent by stating that she did not have such conversations in front of children and communicated with the parent only by phone and text messages outside operating hours. Children reported that they do not hear the licensee or other adults in the home use profanity in their presence.

Based on the information collected, there were no corroborating statements indicating that the licensee spoke inappropriately to a parent in front of day care children, caused unexplained injuries, or failed to meet diapering needs. Therefore, the allegations are deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.

No deficiencies cited.

Notice of site visit was given to the licensee, Martha Inzunza and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and this report was reviewed with the licensee, Martha Inzunza.
