25 | On April 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jo Ann Legaspi conducted a case management inspection regarding a potential issue detected during a complaint inspection. LPA advised Staff Clairdita Rezelien of the inspection's purpose, and the granted LPA with facility entry. Present in the home was the licensee, staff and four (4) children, including the natal child of both staff and the licensee.
According to calls for service records from the San Diego Police Department, officers visited the daycare due to noise complaints. LPA interviewed the Licensee and staff. Staff states that about December 2023, law enforcement visited the facility for “no reason”. Staff states that during that visit, no daycare children were present in the daycare. Licensee states that on 12/24/2023 , law enforcement visited the daycare due to noise complaints, but does not recall whether any daycare children were present during that visit. Licensee does not recall any further law enforcement visits. Licensee reports that visits to the daycare by law enforcement are unusual.
LPA provided licensee with a hard copy of California Code of Regulations (Title 22, Division 6) Section 102416.2 – Reporting Requirements. Licensee and LPA discussed CCR 102417.2 – Reporting Requirements.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Licensee Rights (LIC 9098 01/16) along with a copy of this report was provided to Licensee Edner Andral. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Edner Andral.
