Parents reported that staff are attentive to children's needs and maintain appropriate supervision throughout the day. LPA also interviewed CCC staff members, who stated they follow the center's policies, procedures, staff handbook, and managerial guidance to ensure children receive adequate care and supervision. Additionally, LPA reviewed a document titled "Staff Acknowledgement of Regulations for Supervision and Care." The document outlines 22 expectations related to the care and supervision of children. According to the Director, all staff members are required to review and sign the document acknowledging their understanding of the CCC's supervision expectations.

Regarding the allegation that staff did not prevent a daycare child from causing harm to another daycare child, parent interviews revealed that parents believe staff provide adequate care and supervision to children in care. Parents stated their children have occasionally been involved in minor incidents typical of a childcare setting; however, none of the incidents reported by parents required medical attention. All parents interviewed stated they would recommend the CCC to other families.

LPA also conducted staff interviews. Staff stated that when a child displays challenging behaviors, the CCC may implement additional supervision measures, including assigning a staff member to closely monitor or shadow the child as needed. Staff further stated that the CCC works collaboratively with families and may refer parents to outside agencies and community resources when additional support services are warranted.LPA reviewed the CCC document titled "Staff Acknowledgement of Regulations for Supervision and Care," which includes behavior management expectations and states that staff will utilize positive reinforcement and constructive discipline techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and social skill development. The Director further stated that the CCC utilizes the CALM program as part of its behavior management practices.

Regarding the allegation that staff did not ensure reporting requirements were met, parent interviews revealed that parents are generally satisfied with the CCC's communication practices. Parents stated the CCC communicates incidents involving children in a timely manner and frequently utilizes electronic communication methods to notify parents of minor incidents occurring during the day. Staff interviews revealed that the CCC's practice is to notify a child's authorized representative regarding unusual incidents involving a child on the same day the incident occurs.
