Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on interviews and record review S1 left classroom children unattended resulting in C1 inappropriately touching C2. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. A $500 civil penalty applies.”
“Based on interviews and record review S1 was aware of an incident on 4/11 but did not call it in to the Department and did not submit a written incident report timely as required. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.”
