Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on interviews, licensee did not ensure that child in care was accorded dignity in their relationship with staff. Child #1 was allowed to kiss Staff #2 on cheek. Staff #2 was not positoned in a way suitable to appropriately prevent incident. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.”
“Staff #4 admitted that the incident report dated 10/27/2021 was not given to the parent during pick up. Evidence has revealed that out of incident reports were not signed by parent/guardian, one was signed the following day. Three of the incidents required administration of first aid by staff. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.”
“Evidenced have revealed that staff have told a child that the child will not get a cupcake if the child did not lay down and take a nap. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.”
