How to read violations

Nearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.

CCR 101238(a) — Buildings and Grounds.

“LPA observations and interviews. LPA observations and interviews were conclusive that the windows in the infant room do close properly, which allows the air quality to be affected by environmental factors. On Friday 09/09/22, the infant room suffered from poor air quality due to the windows letting smoke in the room from recent fires and the heat wave. This is apotential risk to the health and safety of children in care if not corrected.”
