CCR 101216.3(a) — Teacher-Child Ratio (a) There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than children in attendance,…

“It was determined by LPA interviews that the facility is operating out of ratio in more than one occasion. Interviews revealed that there has been occasion in the past when some other classrooms were operating out of ratio when the facility was short staffed. Staff interviews revealed that they accept a child in preschool, placing them out of ratio, and then call for assistance. Staff stated that help will come in, but staff will be out of ratio for about minutes.”
