Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Licensee and Assistant #1 (A1) disclosed that A1 "tap" or "bop" Child #1 (C1) after C1 hit A1.”
“On February 17, 2022, LPA observed a total of children. Per record review and interviews, at least two children were not at least age six and were not enrolled in Kindergarten. Therefore the staffing ratio was not being met. This poses a immediate Health, Safety or personal right risk to the children in care.”
“On December 8, 2021 LPA observed two children utilizing baby jumpers in the family childcare home. These items are prohibited per Section 1500.86 of Part 1500 of Title of the Code of Federal Regulations. This poses a potential Health, Safety, or personal right risk to the children in care.”
“Based on LPA observation, and interviews, on December 8, 2021, LPA arrived on site at 9:30am. LPA observed a total of children. This number exceeds the licensed capacity. This poses a immediate Health, Safety or personal right risk to the children in care.”
“On December 8, 2021, LPA observed a total of children, four of whom were infants. This exceeds the ratio which states there can be a total of children when three infants are present. This poses a immediate Health, Safety or personal right risk to the children in care.”
“LPA observed the infants in care fell asleep in swings and high chairs. The licensee and assistant did not take action to move the infants to a crib or play yard as soon as possible, This is an immediate risk to the health, safety or personal rights risk to the children in care.”
