Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on the interview and record review, the Licensee did not meet the Personal Rights regulation which poses an immediate Personal Rights risk to the children in care. There were at least incidents documented involving a child being bitten, scratched and/or hit. The Interim Director confirmed the incidents reported did occur while in care.”
“Based on interviews conducted and documentation obtained, C1 was left in the classroom unattended while the rest of the children transitioned to the playground. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.”
“Based on records review and interview disclosures, staff member(s) did not change a child(ren)'s diaper within a two hour timeframe which left a child(ren) in a wet or soiled diaper for more than two hours which poses a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.”
