Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on file review and staff interviews, it was found that (S1) and (S2) supervised children alone at various times, in multiple classrooms, without the direct supervision of a fully qualified teacher. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to the children in care.”
“Based on a file review and staff interviews, it was found that staff member(S1) was smoking inside the day care facility, which posed an immediate Health, Safety, or Personal Rights risk to the children in care.”
“Based on interviews conducted by LPA, on 3/2/23 a child, C1 was left unattended/unsupervised next to a bench outside of the facility next to the parking lot. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to the children in care.”
