Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Licensee's husband yelled at children in care. In addition, Licensee's husband drove a vehicle in an unsafe manner while transporting children in care to school. This is an immediate risk to the personal rights and health and safety of children in care.”
“LPA learned from interviews that children in care were exposed to arguments between the Licensee and her husband that involved yelling and profanity by the Licensee’s husband. Licensee’s husband used a tone towards children in care that was consistently recognized as yelling. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.”
“Licensee acknowledged popping children’s hands as a form punishment. In addition, consistent statements revealed Licensee used a shoe to slap the leg of children in care. It was also revealed that Licensee and her husband placed children in a closed-door laundry room as a form of punishment. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.”
