Inspection history

Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure child files are complete. Two children need updated health appraisals with immunizations. Three children need permission to sleep in another area.”
“Ensure radon testing is completed every five years.”
“Ensure fire extinguisher is inspected and tagged annually.”
“Ensure cleaning supplies and personal items are kept out of children's reach in the bathroom. Specialist noted cleaners and air fresheners in the bathroom within reach of the children. This was discussed and corrected at the visit.”
“Ensure outdoor area is free of hazards. Specialist noted a pile of broken toys and outdoor equipment that needs to be removed.”
“Ensure license renewal is submitted 60 days before license expires.”
“Ensure the Parents Right to Know log is complete and signed by parents”
