Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.

“On July 21, 2026, the Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint regarding meals and snacks, sanitation, keeping the center clean, hazard-free, and in safe condition, not having enough materials, accident and injury reporting procedures, and failure to keep routine cleaning products out of the reach of children and used in a safe manner. This complaint is substantiated for failure to keep routine cleaning products out of the reach of children and used in a safe manner. A child climbed onto a chair, retrieved a disinfectant bottle, and sprayed another child s forehead. There is no evidence to substantiate an allegation regarding meals and snacks. According to Staff #1, the center maintains sufficient food supplies and submitted a menu confirming the vegetable component was met daily. There is no evidence to substantiate inadequate sanitation. Interviewed staff stated that daily cleaning includes soap and water, disinfectants, sanitizing toys at the end of the day with deep cleaning on Fridays. Additionally, Owner #1 is temporarily washing items off site until the center s washing machine is repaired. There was an outbreak of hand foot and mouth disease at the center. According to Staff #2, parents were notified via the Bright Wheel app, and documentation was posted on the front doors. There is no evidence to substantiate regarding not keeping the center clean, hazard-free, and in safe condition and not having enough materials in the classroom. LS #1 conducted a walkthrough of the classroom, observing no safety hazards and confirming that sufficient materials were present. There is no evidence to substantiate not following accident and injury procedures. Owner #1 stated incidents are documented, parents are notified immediately depending on the severity of the incident, and documentation is provided at the end of the day. Owner #1 denied that a child was bitten at the center and the parent was not provided with an incident report.”
