Inspection history

Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Child #4 missing lead results Child #5 infant feeding statement”
“Radon test required every 5 years. Radon expires on 7/23/2026 but must be completed to receive license renewal.”
“In order for credit hours to be counted, OCCL must see certificates or a transcript before the end of June. After June it becomes non-compliant.”
“Application is due 60 days before license expiration. This was given at the visit.”
“Ensure child files are complete. Child #2 is missing a signature page, Child #3 infant feeding statement, Child #4 needs blood lead results.”
“Submit the following to complete the children's files: blood lead test results for two children and a health appraisal with immunizations for one of those children.”
