Inspection history
Source: Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingRecords held from Sep 27, 2021 onward. Earlier visits may exist in the agency’s own files.
Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure staff files are complete. Staff #1 and 3 need health appraisals. Staff #1 and 2 need CPR/FA. Staff #1 needs OCCL health and safety training.”
“Child #1 was left unsupervised in the classroom on September 26, 2025. Both staff members were addressed and placed on a strict probation period and LS #1 received the probation letters.”
“Staff #1 needs CPR/FA, OCCL health and safety training and Administration of Medication.”
“The Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint on April 26, 2024, regarding children having access to hazardous materials and lack of supervision. An investigation was conducted on May 3, 2024. Based on the results of this investigation this complaint is substantiated for children having access to hazardous materials and lack of supervision in the classroom. On April 25, 2024, Staff #1 brought a vape pen into the classroom where it was in Child #1 s possession for two minutes without the staff member s awareness.”
“Ensure all new employees have completed OCCL's health and safety training before providing care to children. Staff #1 needs to complete the training.”
“The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on September 26, 2023, regarding allegations of lack of supervision and incorrect ratios. This complaint is substantiated for incorrect staff-to-child ratios because a classroom was out of staff-to-child ratio based on a review of attendance records. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for lack of supervision because based on video evidence and staff interviews, children were being appropriately supervised at the time of the incident.”
“The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on April 27, 2023, regarding multiple allegations for the care of infants and lack of respectful communication. An investigation was conducted on May 1, 2023. The complaint is substantiated for inappropriate care of infants based on documentation of infant sleep checks, infant feeding, and infant diapering which was provided by the center. There was no evidence to substantiate this complaint for lack of respectful communication, based on interviews of staff who were present at the time.”
“Ensure all staff files are complete. Staff #2 and #3 need a CPR/First aid certificate. Staff #3 needs administration of medication, OCCL's health and safety training, and a health appraisal with TB results.”
“Ensure all child files are complete. Child #3 needs a signed parents' right-to-know form and permission for screen time.”
“On August 30, 2022, OCCL received a complaint for improper discipline. An investigation was conducted on September 1, 2022. This complaint was substantiated because a child was sent to the bathroom when crying to calm down, and video footage showed a child was physically moved to sit on a carpet. The staff member was terminated as a result of these incidents.”
