Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.

“On March 7, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding not following the suspension/expulsion policy, accident/injury procedures, and positive behavior supports. An investigation was conducted on March 13, 2024. This complaint is substantiated for not following the suspension/expulsion policy because the provider wrote a letter informing Parent #1 that Child #1 could not return if he had another behavioral episode and this does not comply with the provider s suspension/expulsion policy. There is no evidence to substantiate the allegation of not following accident/injury procedures and positive behavior supports because the provider stated Child #1 was not injured at the family child care home and denied yelling at the children or hitting them with a fly swatter. However, a fly swatter was in the child care room and there were no flies present.”
