Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure that the trash receptacle has a lid and trash is removed from the home periodically. Ensure the home is free of insects. The specialist observed three bags of trash in the kitchen, a full fly strip, and many flies in the home.”
“Ensure all hazards are removed or made inaccessible. During inspection, the outdoor area was observed to have two overflowing trash bins that could not be properly closed and three bags of trash stored outside a covered receptacle. The exposed and unsecured trash provided access to insects and wildlife and created conditions conducive to insect infestation and breeding.”
“Ensure a health appraisal, immunization record, and blood lead result is on file.”
“Ensure OCCL receives notification of new household members.”
“Ensure child files are complete. Three children need blood lead test results on file.”
“Infants are to sleep in a crib or pack-n-play with a fitted sheet. This was corrected when the infant woke up.”
“Ensure an annual renewal application is submitted 60 days prior to license expiration.”
“Ensure bandage tape is added to first aid kit.”
“OCCL received a complaint on July 1, 2022, regarding a lack of supervision and failure to follow accident and injury procedures. The complaint is substantiated for lack of supervision because the provider was not supervising the children during nap time to hear Child #1 tell Child #2 to stop hitting and kicking Child #3 or to see Child #2 hitting, kicking, or sitting on Child #3 s head. There is no evidence to substantiate the allegation of accident and injury procedures because [name withheld] denied observing any marks on the children. An additional concern noted was [name withheld] did not intervene quickly to ensure the children were safe when Child #2 sat on, hit, and kicked Child #3.”
