Inspection history

Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure household members are fingerprinted every five years.”
“Ensure fire extinguisher is inspected and tagged annually.”
“Ensure renewal application is submitted at least 60 days prior to license expiring.”
“OCCL s investigation of regulatory non-compliance began after clearance from other agencies was received. The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on May 14, 2025, regarding possible improper discipline, lack of supervision, and notification to OCCL. An investigation was conducted on May 29, 2025. This complaint is substantiated for notification to OCCL because the provider did not inform OCCL a child received medical treatment. There is no evidence to substantiate lack of supervision and improper discipline because the provider stated Child #1 did not seem to be hurt while in care, and the cause of the injury is unknown.”
“Ensure family members are fingerprinted and deemed eligible every five years.”
“Ensure fire extinguisher is inspected and tagged annually.”
“Ensure outdoor play area is free of hazards. Remove tools, portable lights and extension cords from area. Ensure outdoor play equipment is sturdy and safe. Wooden play set is in need of repairs.”
“Ensure license renewal is received 60 days before license expires. This was corrected when renewal was received on July 22, 2024”
“Ensure the Parent Right to Know Log is complete.”
“Ensure child files are complete. Two children need blood lead test results.”
“Ensure an electrical inspection is conducted every three years.”
“Ensure no more than three children under the age of 24 months are present during care. LS arrived and there were four children under 24 months present for care.”
