Inspection history
Source: Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingRecords held from Sep 27, 2021 onward. Earlier visits may exist in the agency’s own files.
Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.

This incident was self-reported to OCCL on August 31, 2023, and an investigation was conducted on September 22, 2023. This complaint is substantiated because Staff #1 left a mark on Child #1 after removing her from a classroom, and threw an object at Child #2, hitting them on the cheek/eye. Staff #1 s employment was terminated immediately.”

“A complaint was received on February 11, 2022, regarding failure to contact an ambulance before contacting a parent or guardian when a portion of a child s finger was severed after being caught in a door. An investigation was conducted beginning on February 11, 2022, and ending on May 16, 2022. The complaint is substantiated for the center not contacting an ambulance when a serious injury occurred. There is disagreement over whether or not the center asked the parent if they wanted an ambulance called. DELACARE regulations require an ambulance be called for a serious or potentially serious injury.”
“A complaint was received on April 26, 2022, alleging the center did not follow required procedures for release of a child. An investigation was conducted on May 2, 2022. The complaint was substantiated because the center did not allow the Reporter to enter the building to pick up Child #1, and the center neither checked Child #1 s file for persons authorized to pick up Child #1 nor did center staff ask for and keep a copy of the Reporter s identification in Child #1 s file. In addition, the center released a child to a person who was not authorized.”
