Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“An administrative penalty will be recommended as a result of this citation, per HRC ?42.078. During this inspection, I observed a caregiver to be leaving for lunch (that I knew by name) that I did not recognize as having a current approved background check. It was found that the caregiver left working at the operation for a short period of time and their background check was not re-run when they were hired back. This was corrected at inspection when this was discovered, and they told the caregiver not to return until the background check has been run and re-approved. This brought the operation back into compliance..”
“The playground surface was observed to have gaps between the mats along with the edging lifting up causing possible tripping hazards to children in care.”
