Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Five staff files do not have training available for review during an inspection in the required topics: Understanding building and physical premises safety, including identification and protection from hazards, and Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials.”
“It is found during a DFPS investigation a child left their classroom unsupervised, and wandered to the outdoor playground.”
“It is found during a DFPS investigation that an incident report regarding a child leaving a classroom unsupervised was written and not shared with the child's parent.”
“It is found during a DFPS investigation that the operation failed to report a child leaving the classroom unsupervised, exiting the building through doors leading to the playground.”
“The operation did not complete the requirement of reporting the number of employees that left in 2023 by 1/15/2024.”
“10 files were reviewed, 3 caregivers do not have training certificates indicating training in Emergency preparedness, Preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, Administering medication, Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction, Understanding building and physical premises safety, and Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials.”
“3 employee does not have Affidavits in their employee files available for review.”
