Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One caregiver did not have 6 of the needed 24 hours of annual training for her last completed training year.”
“There were two baby walkers on the back porch. One did not have the stopper all the way down, so it could roll We asked the director about it, and she changed the position of the stopper so it could not roll.”
“Two caregivers were missing several trainings including Preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, emergency preparedness, administering medication, preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction, and hazardous materials.”
“One child was missing required immunizations according to their age.”
“Two children's files were missing the healthcare provider statements.”
“Cleaning supplies were accessible to children in the restroom. The child lock was left off the cabinet. This was corrected at inspection when a caregiver secured the child lock.”
