Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Caregivers were observed allowing child to run in and outof the cafeteria. The children were also observed exiting the cafeteria to the inner entrance corridor, caregivers were observed threshold supervising the children as the children went to the bathroom unsupervised. Children were observed opening the exit doors for parents as the caregivers were chasing several runners in the cafeteria.”
“Caregivers were observed interchangeably going in and out of the cafeteria leaving the other with 34 children. The ratio is 25 to 1, bringing the ratio out of compliance by 9 each time it was done.”
“There were no activities observed on the tables for the children to participate in. The children were running around the cafeteria and some were fighting each other, while others sat at tables waiting.”
“A child had gotten away from the group and was seen in between the corridor doors of the cafeteria. The child was let back inside by the caregiver .”
“Two operation staff did not have the required pre-application affidavits, Form 2912 or review by CCR.”
“During the inspection, six children with diagnosed allergies did not have an emergency allergy plan sign by a parent and physician.”
“The inspection report posted was found to be from 2018. This was corrected at inspection when the most current inspection report was posted.”
