Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A fire drill had not been conducted. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver conducted a drill and it met the required exit time.”
“Listerine was observed within the reach of the children in the restroom. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver removed the listerine and placed it in a locked cabinet.”
“The nap mats for the children were not labeled. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver labeled the mats with the children names.”
“A fire drill was not conducted in the month of August. The last fire drill that was conducted was on 07/07/2025.”
“An infant was observed in a baby walker with wheels which is a prohibited item.”
“During the inspection, children under the age of 2 years old were watching television.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was found the CPR and first aid was expired. The expiration date was Oct 26,2023.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that the gate leading to the fence was latched but not locked. Provider locked it while I was present.”
“During the monitoring inspection the child file reviewed did not have all required information and signatures.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was found that the last fire drill was conducted July 2021. These drills should be completed monthly. This was corrected at inspection when a drill was conducted while I was present.”
