Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation did not report via online provider account the number of employees who ceased working at the operation during the previous calendar year by January 15th, 2026 as required.”
“A garbage container was missing a top, leaving its contents accessible to children. This was corrected at the time of inspection.”
“Three older infants (specified age group: 12-17 months) were left unsupervised for approximately one minute during a recent holiday celebration at the facility. No children were injured during this incident. A staff meeting was held to address the situation and mitigate future risk.”
“The operation did not report via online provider account the number of employees who ceased working at the operation during the previous calendar year by January 15th, 2023 as required.”
“A 16-year-old student enrolled in a child-care-related career program was allowed to volunteer at the facility without an active background check.”
