Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“This standard was evaluated and found to be deficient after the daycare failed to report an incident the occurred requiring a child seek medical treatment. This was corrected at inspection due to being addressed at the time of initiation.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an evaluation and found to be deficient after the daycare failed to provide an incident report to a parent after her child was injured in care and has to seek medical attention. Addressed at the time initiation that incident reports are to be provided to parents anytime a child is injured and seeks medical attention.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient after a child was injured after running into an unmarked glass door. This was addressed during the initiation. Due to daycare being closed, I recommended they have a plan to get decals on the doors before children are in care. Photos to be sent once it has been completed.”
“One child's record lacked the name, address, and telephone number of the child's physician or an emergency-care facility.”
“A caregiver, with access to children, was present at the operation before receiving notice from the Centralized Background Check Unit regarding the person's eligibility. This violation was corrected during the inspection. The caregiver was immediately removed from the operation.”
“The operation did not have a current health inspection on file. The last health inspection on file was from November 2018.”
