Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The following items were missing from the operational policies. Parents can visit the home at any time, the provider has an animal in the home, how the parents can view the most recent Licensing report and the safe sleep policies.”
“The provider's dog did not have a statement of health from the veterinarian.”
“There is a gap under the fence where a child could slide under. There is an empty pool on the other side of the fence. There were some exposed nails on the wood around the shed and some items that need to be removed from the play area.”
“The form must be signed and dated annually to ensure that the provider is checking the website. The provider must share the recalls with the parents and check to see if they have any of these items in the home.”
