Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A fence on the Pre-K playground was observed to be broken.”
“The children's product recall form had not been filled out in the last year.”
“The operation did not notify the parents immediately of a situation that placed a child at risk. The parents were not informed until pick up, which was 45 minutes after the incident.”
“A child was left alone without caregiver supervision for approximately 42 minutes.”
“A child was left unattended on a vehicle.”
“The bus driver and staff member were not competent as they did not follow the operation's policy set up for transportation. As a result, a child was left on a vehicle unattended.”
“Based on the information received during the investigation the operation neglected a child while in care by being left on an operation vehicle.”
“The bus driver did not account for all children exiting the vehicle. The bus driver mismarked the transportation log, and did not adequately check the vehicle after parking.”
“Based on the information received during the investigation the caregiver in charge didn't make sure that the child was accounted for before leaving the playground and after returning to the classroom.”
