Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“An infant was carried in a bouncer by a caregiver. The instructions state that the bouncer can only be used on the floor.”
“Two infants were in a classroom with no supervision for at least 5 minutes before the caregiver returned to the classroom.”
“Based on information obtained during the investigation, it was determined that children are placed in highchairs for timeout.”
“An airplane spring rider on the playground had a cracked exterior with a sharp, jagged edge protruding. The provider said they will throw it away.”
“The daycare had concerns of abuse and neglect that they did not report to CPS.”
“Four staff records were reviewed and they lacked: notarized affidavit and required content training.”
“Ten children records were reviewed and four lacked allergy info, medical authorization, emergency contact address, and a health statement.”
“At the time of the inspection, a caregiver did not have current FA and CPR training.”
“The operation has not complted sever weather drill practices.”
“The operation has not completed a fire drill log.”
“Two children did not have completed admission information.”
“Four children were observed to not have a health statement on file.”
