Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Assistant caregiver was observed changing a child without gloves and not washing her hands or the child's hands before interavting with other children.”
“CPSC form was observed on the required posting wall with a date of 1/29/2020.”
“A tree in the backyard was wrapped with wire and ends were cut and sticking out.”
“The month of October 2021 attendance record (sign in/out) was not available for review during the visit.”
“A 2 month old child was observed sleeping on a restrictive device during the visit.”
“The provider was observed to not have a fence around her swimming pool.”
“The primary and assistant caregiver was observed to not have the following required trainings: (1) Emergency preparedness; (2) Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction; (3) Understanding building and physical premises safety, and (4) Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials”
