Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One caregiver did not have proof of education requirements.”
“One caregiver did not have her education translated into English.”
“Based on the information obtained during this investigation, it was determined the operation did not use play equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions during water activities.”
“One caregiver is in need of one clock hour of the annual training hours on prevention, recognition, and reporting of child maltreatment.”
“Records were evaluated for ten children enrolled and the following was determined: Two children needed a special needs statement. One child needed a food allergy emergency plan signed by the parent and physician. One child needed an updated immunization record.”
“During the inspection I observed a sharp object, scissors and detergent accessible to children. I also observed spray bottles with cleaning solution in multiple classrooms. Note: The director removed all items during the inspection.”
