Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At time of inspection, six out of the eight children files reviewed had missing addresses for emergency contact.”
“People list has not been validated since 4/17/2024. Note: This was corrected during the inspection.”
“After review of the operation handbook, it did not have a statement relating to children with special needs.”
“After reviewing personnel records, one out of four staff did not have thier proof of education, statement signed stating they recieved the operational and personnel policies.”
“After review of the operation handbook, it did not have a statement relating to the epi pen.”
“Three caregivers and the directors CPR did not contain the hands on portion.”
“Two student records did not contain the emergency contact address.”
“Based on the preponderance of information obtained during the investigation there is sufficient information to prove a caregiver used poor judgement by taking children to their house prior to going to the field trip. The caregiver was given the option of going home while another staff member watched her class; however, they choose to stay and wait until leaving with the children for the field trip to stop at their home to change.”
