Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A driver at the center failed to demonstrate good judgement when she did not make sure the children dropped off were under the supervision of a caregiver before leaving the center. A caregiver at the operation failed to demonstrate good judgement when she did not receive children at the lobby after learning they were about to arrive. She also demonstrated poor judgement when she did not verify which children had been dropped off after she saw some of them arrive in their classroom.”
“Caregivers failed to provide supervision of a child when the child was left without any supervision allowing the child to exit the daycare without any of the staff knowing.”
“The Specified Age Group for the children napping in a centralized location was 2 years old. There were 23 children with 1 caregiver in the group. The number of caregivers for this many children in that age group during naptime is 2.”
“Based on the information obtained standard was found non-compliance. Staff was working without an initial background check. NOTE CORRECT: Staff is no longer employed.”
“Employees attendance records and time sheets were not available for review at the time of inspection.”
