Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“An infant in care not yet eating table food, did not have infant feeding instructions on file at the operation available for review.”
“One child was missing immunizations in their file.”
“Fire drills were not being documnted monthly. This was corrected at inspection when a fire drill was conducted and documented.”
“Three out of four cots were not labeled with children's names or any other way. This was corrected at inspection when the cots were labeled with the children's names.”
“The most recent licensing inspection was not posted.”
“There was not a smoke alarm installed in the main day care area.”
“Two children's files did not have dates of admission. This was corrected at inspection when the dates were added.”
“There was dog feces in the backyard and which children had access to. This was corrected at inspection when the feces was picked up.”
“The day care did not have a section on physical activity included in the operational policies.”
