Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.

“It was determined through the course of the investigation that two caregivers inappropriately disciplined their own children, including spanking, while the children were present in care.”
“It was determined through the course of the investigation that a caregiver used inappropriate language, including cursing, toward children in care.”
“It was determined through the course of the investigation that a caregiver used inappropriate disciplinary methods, including spanking children in care and aggressively grabbing them to place them in time out.”
“A caregiver in the toddler room was observed changing diapers on the main clasroom rug that the children play on with no mat underneath the child.”
“A caregiver in the toddler classroom did not wash hands after diapering a child.”

“It was determined through the course of the DFPS investigation that a caregiver admitted to using their personal cell phone while supervising children during naptime.”
