Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A child's emergency food allergy plan was not signed by child's parent/guardian.”
“A child's emergency allergy plan was not posted in the child's room or where food is prepared.”
“There was not a fire drill documented for the month of October.”
“Operation switched an infant room to another room without notifying Licensing. Prior infant room turned into a staff/office room. The playground area has also been reduced due to outside changes/construction. Operation failed to inform Licensing. Space has been reduced.”
“Two employees in charge of a classroom were found to be asleep. Children in the classroom were napping at the time.”
“Sanitation inspection expired in July of 2022 and has not been renewed.”
“Two infants, 14 months and 11 months, were obserrved asleep while sitting next to a caregiver. The caregivers were not holding the children or feeding the children. The children were leaning up against a pillow.”
“Operation failed to notify Licensing of a reportable illness within the required timeframe.”
