Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During review of personnel files the primary caregiver and assistant caregiver were found to not have completed CPR in person as required.”
“During review of the homes operational policies, the policies did not include policies on household animals.”
“The primary caregiver did not have a background check on two relatives that lives in the home.”
“I observed that the home's operational policies did not include information concerning active play or information on the home's pets.”
“I did not observe documentation of a health statement from the veternarian for the home's pet dogs.”
“I evaluated the enrollment records of 4 children. I observed the following: 1. One record did not have an address documented for the emergency contact person. 2. One record did not have a current preschool health statement for the child.”
“I did not observe documentation of vaccinations for the home's pet dogs.”
“The outside A/C was not covered or enclosed with a barrier.”
“I did not observe current certification in Infant Safety Training for the provider.”
