Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Three children's files were missing a medical health statement signed by a physician.”
“A television within access to children was not strapped down or mounted, posing a safety hazard to children if the television falls on them or others in care. This was corrected during inspection when the television was removed.”
“The infant in care did not have an infant feeding instructions form on file.”
“The gate around the swimming pool does not have the required self closing/self latching equipment installed.”
“The primary caregiver has an expired first aid certificate on file. It expired on 11/2021”
“The primary caregiver has an expired CPR certification on file, it expired on 11/2021.”
“There were prescribed medications within reach of children on the dining table. This was corrected during inspection when the primary caregiver removed the medications and stored them out of reach of children.”
