Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The smoke/carbon monoxide detector was not installed in the main area (kitchen living room) of the home.”
“The primary caregiver does not have the required 30 annual training hours.”
“A fish pond in the backyard was observed uncovered and accessible to children in care during the inspection.”
“One child five years old was observed present on the second floor of the home during the inspection. This was corrected when the provider was informed and brought the child down to the ground floor.”
“The operational policies for the child care home was not available for review.”
“The liability insurance for the child care home was not available for reviewed during the inspection.”
“Two children in care ages 5 years old and 3 years old did not have the most current immunization records for review during the inspection”
