Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A household member was allowed to have direct access to children in care prior to obtaining the background check determination of eligible, eligible with conditions, or provisionally eligible with conditions. The household member was left in charge of the children in the primary caregiver's absence.”
“The primary caregiver was not present in the home and left an unqualified person in charge of the children in care.”
“Smoke & carbon monoxide detectors have not been tested since May 2026.”

“One child did not have a health statement on file.”

“One child's up to date immunization's records were unavailable for review during the inspection.”
“Safety documentation for emergency drills, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors was unavailable for review. This was corrected at inspection when the provider documented the last emergency checks done last month. A smoke detector nd fire extinguisher was inspected and tested.”
“Three children do not have health statements or parent signatures verifying they have been examined by a health care professional in the past year.”
“The operation failed to report a communicable disease to Child Care Regulation.”
“At the time of inspection, 2 children's files lacked current immunization documentation.”
