Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“After changing a child's diaper, a caregiver did not remove her gloves and wash her hands. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver removed the gloves and washed her hands before diapering the next child.”
“Two out of four children's files reviewed did not have a health statement.”
“Two staff files reviewed did not have a notoraized affidavit.”
“One 16 month old and one 18 month old were observed sitting in highchairs not being utilized for meals for more than 15 minutes. This was corrected by the caregiver removing the children from the high chair.”
“After wiping a child's nose, the caregiver did not wash her hands or the child's hands. This was corrected at the inspection, when the caregiver washed her hands.”
“The CPR training for the director was completed only online.”
“CPR training was found to have been completed online without the use of a CPR manikin.”
“Caregiver was found to not have a current background check. This was corrected at inspection when background check was submitted during the inspection.”
