Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There was cob webs observed on the outdoor play equipment. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver wiped down the equipment removing the cobs webs.”
“There was not an activity plan for this week at the operation.”
“The outdoor sandbox was not cover, allowing rain and animals in the sandbox. The bathroom used by children had grime on the tub, toilet and sink. There was a trash can filled with trash in an infant's crib. This crib was used for an infant to nap in. The diaper changing area had debris and books on top of the changing table. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver removed the items that were on top of the changing table then sanitized the diaper changing table.”
