Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Through Child Care Investigator's preponderance, it was determined that a caregiver grabbed the child by the arm that caused injury to the child.”
“A caregiver was observed pulling a child who been known for prone to nursemaid elbow of the floor. This caused the child's elbow to dislocate.”
“It was observed that caregiver did not wash a toddler's hands after changing his diaper.”
“This rule was evaluated with regard to an investigation and has been found to be in violation with the Minimum Standard Rules for Licensed Childcare Centers based on reviewing video footage and interview with caregivers and children.”
“This rule was evaluated with regard to an investigation and has been found to be in violation with the Minimum Standard Rules for Licensed Childcare Centers based on reviewing video footage and interview with caregiver and parent.”
“Four of the bus drivers had expired transportation training.”
“This standard was part of an investigation. It was determined the operation did not notified Childcare Regulation timely of six cases of a communicable illness.”
