Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two chilldren in care today did not have any records for attending daycare.”
“Before sitting down for lunch, none of the nine children in care were seen to wash their hands before eating.”
“The assistant caregiver did not wash their hands before distributing food at lunch to the children.”
“Background check notification results were not received by permit holder prior to allowing 2 individuals to be present in the childcare home with direct access to children in care.”
“It was found during the investigation that the primary caregiver was out of ratio with two 0-17 month old infants, eight 18 month - 3 year olds, and one 4 year old.”
“It was found that the primary caregiver failed to intervene on several occasions causing a child to receive several less serious injuries on different occasions.”
“It was found during the investigation that 2 individuals who received a letter of ineligibility to be present at the operation from the background check unit have still been regularly present in the childcare home with access to children in care.”
“It was found that not vaccination documentation was available for review for the dog living in the residence.”
